Additionally, they often have an insatiable need for control and may manipulate and exploit others to maintain their sense of power and dominance. They lack genuine empathy and tend to use people as tools to fulfill their own needs and desires.
It's important to note that narcissism exists on a spectrum, and not everyone who displays some narcissistic traits is necessarily diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). However, those with NPD tend to exhibit more extreme and damaging narcissistic behaviors that can negatively impact their relationships and those around them.
